Who We Are?
With more than 90 years’ experience as funeral directors in Ireland, in April 2025 we launched our Aerial Farewell business – dedicated to providing the country’s first aerial ashes scattering drone service. We are proud and dedicated Funeral Directors who will take care of your wishes and desires. We tailor all funerals and ceremonies to suit the individual needs of a loved one and wishes of a family.
Our history in the funeral business in began in 1933, when 90 years Hogan’s Funeral home was established by Eugene Hogan in what was originally the ticket office for the Tralee to Dingle light railway and tramway. That heritage is still reflected in the building itself with many of its beautiful old Victorian features still intact and adding to it’s character and charm.
Eugene’s son Gerard then took over the business. Gerard, referred to as a quiet
man of immense humanity took great pride in the funeral business and ran it up
until his death in January 2020 (may he rest in peace).
For more than 60 years, John O’Rahilly worked side by side with Gerard in
catering to family’s funeral needs.
John continues in the business with Sean Lynch, who has been engaged in the
funeral business since 1982, having established Lynch’s Funeral Home in
Castlegregory at that time.
